OCEAN SPRINGS, Mississippi — For two decades, there weren’t many decisions to be made for Ocean Springs residents on what to do on a Friday night. If the Greyhound football team was playing, you went to Greyhound Stadium. If not, you went to Springs Cinema.Perhaps both, given the two facilities were right next door to each other. But no longer. In fact, they’ll now both be part of the same facility, in a manner of speaking. In June, the old movie theater was demolished, after spending 40 ignominious years as nothing more than a storage unit, despite much of the original theater still being in tact, including the projectors in the upstairs projection rooms.
